Back To School and Frogstreet Kickoff!

 Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a fantastic week and enjoyed the holiday! With a shorter week, the days are going by so quickly! Last week was our last hurrah for the summer. It was back-to-school-themed! Teachers introduced the Frogstreet curriculum and met their little mascots, and even Pete The Cat came to visit! It was such a fun time! On Tuesday, classes chose a back-to-school craft. There were lots of buses made with shapes or with handprints. Wednesday, classes talked about families and showed their family photos to their classmates during circle time. 

To finish the week, classes discussed healthy meal choices, and our teachers had an in-service day! It was great to see all the teachers come together to learn how to be the best teachers they can be. 

This week has been great as well! So far, we have had a yoga session using a Cosmic Kids video. Our babies got to listen to different sounds, and teachers watched to see their responses. Today, we had families take home a pizza kit! We can't wait to see all the photos as they make their own creation. We are so excited to start this year! What a great day to teach!
