Frog Street Curriculum and Sunflower Crafts

We can’t believe our Frog Street curriculum year has finally begun! After all the fun themes and activities we enjoyed throughout the summer, our little friends are so excited to begin a new year filled with learning, exploring, and making wonderful memories.

Our theme for the month is All About Me (Toddlers), Awesome Me (Threes), My School and Me (PreK). This theme gives our little ones the opportunity to discover all the amazing things they can do while learning just how special and unique they are.

Today, we enjoyed a sweet little activity where our friends created beautiful sunflowers. You can see just how proud they are of their artwork! They were so focused and carefully added each little detail, making everything look absolutely perfect in their eyes.

What a fun and exciting week this is turning out to be! We can’t wait to see all the smiles, discoveries, and beautiful moments this new curriculum year will bring.

Superheroes In Training!

What a super week we had last week! From dressing up in our favorite superhero outfits to creating our very own masks, our friends learned so many wonderful ways to be a hero.

Although we may not have superpowers, we discovered that being a super friend can make a big difference. A simple smile, helping to clean up, being kind to a friend, and even following the simplest safety rules can bring happiness to everyone around us.

We hope our little people always remember that being a hero is not about having superpowers. It is about being kind, caring, helpful, and making the world a little brighter wherever they go.

Camp Academy

What a camptastic week it has been for our friends here at AOHC! From making campfires and practicing our s’more spelling to sharing fun stories around the campfire, our friends had an amazing time exploring, learning, and making memories! 

Of course, we couldn’t let the week end without a little family fun! Families enjoyed a fun stone-painting activity together on their way out for the day.

There were so many smiles, laughs, and wonderful memories made this week, and we’re already excited to see what adventures next week will bring! 

Special Visitor!

 Look who came to visit! 🎉

Mr. Zack and Mr. Keres from our amazing maintenance team stopped by to spend some time with our little learners! They shared all about their important jobs and the many ways they help keep our schools running safely and smoothly each day. Our friends loved getting a closer look at some of the tools they use and learning how they help take care of our school.

The excitement didn't stop there, they even got to have a little fun with some paint! The enrichment room was filled with smiles, laughter, curiosity, and lots of excitement as everyone enjoyed this special visit.

A huge thank you to our incredible maintenance team for all they do behind the scenes. We are so grateful for their hard work, dedication, and kindness. They help make our school a wonderful place to learn and grow, and our little friends were absolutely thrilled to spend time with them. We appreciate you more than you know!
