AOHC Pays It Forward!

We had a great (yet very HOT) Saturday at the Spring Hill Pay It Forward event!  We hosted some super fun Lego activities for the children to enjoy.  We loved running into some of our families and watching our students creativity come to life!

Mud Painting!

We truly embraced our "Dirt Diggers" week by creating some very creative mud painting! The children used a variety of tools and materials, such as, flowers and worms to complete their masterpieces!  The use of the mud also tapped into their sensory skills, as many of them used their hands!

KBC Learns About Dining in a Cafeteria!

Big things are happening here at AOHC in our Kindergarten Boot Camp!  Mrs. Jennifer, the Cafeteria Manager from Allendale Elementary School came to talk to us last week about dining in the Cafeteria.  The students learned things such as how the lines work, how to pay for meals and how to make healthy eating choices!  When they get to Kindergarten, things will be a lot different so we set up a lunch line in the enrichment room and served our future Kindergartners.  We also prepped them on the details such as how to open milk cartons and ketchup packets!  We believe it is important to get our little Boot Campers as ready as possible for the big change over!

They did a GREAT job and they love learning about new things that are to come in their future!
We are so proud of our KBC Class!

Summer WATER DAYS!!!!

What better way to spend Summer days then in the water? Here at AOHC we believe children benefit in water play. This helps them with their  coordination, exploration,  balance and strength.
Our sweet toddlers playing in the water table.
Some times we just need to sun bathe.

Water and sand? Yes!!Please!

Our Pre-K kids love the water sprinkler.

Toddlers had so much fun with our water ball sprinkler.
Even though our infants can not play in water does not mean they can not have a water experience. They enjoyed our water pad.
We believe children will learn best when they are playing through exploration. If you would like to know why AOHC values water play please CLICK HERE.

Our Community, Our Family!!!

AOHC had a blast participating in the Memorial Day Event here in Spring Hill. We are big on community events because it gives us a chance to get out there and meet families all while having fun with them!! We are so thankful that we have been a part of this event for 2 years now and can not wait to come back next year!!!

Our booth had free face painting, balloons and tattoos.

Thank you for allowing us to bring a smile to children's faces!!!

We take pride in what we do!!!

We believe that in order for  a child to be successful it takes a team. This team is made up between family members , caregivers, & the community. This is why we participate as much as possible in any community event to let people know we believe in teamwork.
