Flight Special Guest!

This month our High Reach curriculum theme is "Wings and Things that Fly!". Our very special Flying Guest was 2 Delta Airline Pilots! Talk about a guest who knows how to fly! Our kids learned about what makes a plane fly and even learned how to make paper airplanes! The pilots even gave each child a set of "wings" (something you only get when you get your flight license).

Sneaky Little Leprechaun

That sneaky little leprechaun has been running around the building today...
Take a Look!!

He ran to the trap and dropped a gold coin!

 Wow! Look! Footprints!

 I see his footprints!

 Is he in the trap????

So excited that he stopped by our class today!!

 We found more footprints!

 Almost caught him!!

He made his way to the top... but dropped a coin....

The leprechaun just LOVED his bed and table and chairs.

The school age kids made a great home for him and even dropped left him some gold!

One Fish, Two Fish

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America Week we had a fun activity set up in the front lobby. All families were encouraged to participate and guess how many gold fish crackers were in the jar for a chance to win our Dr. Seuss give-away basket!

Each family took a guess and placed it in the jar....

They took a look at the PRIZE they could win...

AND THEN....

The Winner chose a number....

He counted..... and he counted....

And he thought.... and he thought....

His guess..... 513 gold fish. The correct number was 523!

CONGRATULATIONS
 Gavin Michalak of Preschool 1

Great Guessing! We hope you enjoy your Dr. Seuss basket!!!

I wanted to take this opportunity to give some props to Ms. Brianca and Ms. Gigi, our Preschool 1 teachers.    They are really rocking this month's theme, Wings and Things That Fly,  and they deserve some credit.
