All I Want For Christmas Is You!!!

It's Christmas week! The hustle and bustle hasn't died down yet but soon many families will be coming together and doing their Christmas traditions. This week for circle time, the classes talked about their family traditions on Christmas. Some read, "The Night Before Christmas" on Christmas Eve, and others baked and decorated cookies. It's nice to see how different families do things for the holidays. The classes also had a Santa craft, we're excited to see their creative thoughts flow. Of course we can't forget movie day! Nothing like watching a holiday movie before Christmas. From our Academy family to yours, we hope you all have a Merry Christmas.

You Better Not Pout I'm Tellin' You Why...Santa Claus is Coming To Town!

Hey everyone! I hope you all have had an amazing week so far. This week we have been giving love to the teachers. They had a delicious breakfast and lunch that was provided by the parents. They were all so excited and thankful for all that was provided for them. They even got to wear PJs to work. Who doesn't love being comfortable at work? Our PreK friends performed on our stage for their Christmas concert. I love seeing kids with the Christmas spirit. It's really beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Oh, The Weather Outside Is Frightful...

Hello! I hope everyone is well! These past couple of days have been super gloomy and rainy. I hope the weather becomes a little more festive soon! Staff and kiddos alike have been really creative this week. We had an elf house contest and Friday we count the votes to see which class won. That will be exciting! We also made popsicle stick trees and had the kids decorate them however they wanted. It was great to see how different each one was. Santa also showed his face this week! He had so much fun seeing everyone and taking pictures with our kiddos. The kids are even more excited about Christmas coming since they saw him. We love the Christmas season.

We're In December Baby!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had three or four servings of food and took naps afterwards and bless those who went Black Friday shopping lol. This week we got to do some pretty fun things! All classes made ornaments to put on our school trees. The babies' ornaments were put in the front and the older friends got to put their ornaments up in the back. The older friends are so proud of their work!

Sparkle our elf on the shelf is out again for the Christmas season. Parents and children alike are having so much fun looking for her in the school. She has been hard to find for some. Sometimes she hides in plain sight.

The classes also got to make Christmas cards for the troops. We always want to thank service men and women for what they do. We hope these cards will bring a little bit of joy to them as they are away from their homes this year.

T'was The Night Before Thanksgiving

Hey everyone! I hope all of you are having a wonderful week! It's the day before Thanksgiving! Who's excited!?! I know we are! This week, we have been talking about what we all are thankful for. Through the hustle and bustle of life we hope this Thanksgiving, as you all look around your table seeing your family laugh and talk with one another, you  reflect on the wonderful things you all have been blessed with this year. We all have been through all kinds of things. Some more intense than others. But despite all the obstacles, you're here, and you are stronger than you were before. We are truly thankful for all of you and I hope you have a safe and joyous Thanksgiving.

On The Third Week of November, The Turkey Gave To Me!

Hey everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful week so far. Who's been loving the cold crisp mornings? Some days are easier than others for us lol. This week, we have been doing all things turkey. From painting with feathers, turkey dances,  to singing turkey songs. We also must not forget the Thanksgiving celebration on Friday.  The younger friends get to have a Thanksgiving themed lunch in their classroom while the WHOLE PreK pod gets to come out to the enrichment room and eat together. This is something that PreK hasn't done before and they are stoked about seeing their all of their friends. It's almost the countdown to Thanksgiving! Get your tummies ready!!
