Hey everyone! It's Dr. Seuss week! Nothing like showing appreciation of an author that has been such a big part of a lot of our childhood lives.
Monday was crazy hair day! Teachers and kids alike came in their craziest hairstyles. It was so much fun to see everyone in all kinds of silly looks. Tuesday we read the classic story of, "Green Eggs and Ham". We even had green eggs and ham at the breakfast bar too. A lot of our friends thought it was so much fun to have something that was in a story for breakfast.
Wednesday was a very VERY comfortable day. Who doesn't like a pajama day thrown in every now and then!? Thursday was National Flapjack Day, so we celebrated by having them for breakfast that morning.
Finally, the day that all of our friends have been waiting for. Nashville Zoo came for a visit to tell us about the fun animals that they brought. Everyone was so excited to see these animals so close while learning about their habitat. They also got to ask questions about them, and let me tell you, they had LOTS of questions.
