Power of Play - Construction Week!

A lot of tiny builders have been spotted around AoHC this week!  When children build and construct, they are using more than just their hands.  They are using skills such as learning how to work in a group and problem solving.  Building and creating also prompts children to become more creative and using a wide variety of words.  Little ones often tend to come up with names and stories behind their structures which broadens their language development.  We have also noticed that the students, big and small, become very socially savvy when they work on cooperative construction projects.

Check out some of our builders for this week!
