Hi everyone! I hope you’ve been enjoying the beautiful weather this week. After a long stretch of cold and snow, it’s finally starting to warm up, and we’re soaking up the sunshine!
We kicked off the last week with a long Presidents Day weekend, followed by a visit from the Science Guys, who were a big hit with the students. Science is always such an exciting and fun way to learn!
Unfortunately, Wednesday’s snow kept us from school, but it was great to see families staying connected and sharing pictures of their snow day adventures.
On Thursday, we celebrated the amazing Jesse Owens and his impact on sports and history, and our infant classes wrapped up their week with a FrogStreet activity to the song “You Are My Sunshine.”
This week, we learned about Katherine Johnson and her incredible contribution to America’s space program. On Tuesday, we read Corgi Loves, and Wednesday was National Tell a Fairytale Day, so we had a fun dress-up day and read some great stories. Thursday, we counted love bugs, and Friday we wrapped things up with a cozy Pajama Day.
Can’t believe March is here! Now, we’re all wondering when the Leprechaun will pay us a visit. Who knows what kind of mischief he’ll bring?
