This week we celebrated bike safety month. As the days get warmer and longer, the kids will be able to spend more time outside to ride their bikes and other ride on toys. So now is the perfect time to go over the rules to help us stay safe! On Monday we talked about the importance of wearing sunblock when outside riding bikes and playing on hot, sunny days. Tuesday we sung "The wheels on the Bus" and talked about being safe while traveling. Wednesday we learned about helmet safety and why we should wear a helmet. On Thursday we learned about crossing the road safely, to always look both ways and always be with a responsible adult. Friday our PK4 graduating class were able to bring their bikes to school! They had a blast riding around the playground and learning how to ride safely.
