Last Thursday we had our 4th annual mud day at AoHC! Most of the kids loved squishing and stomping in the mud! We had a table of mud to squish and dig in, a bucket of mud to paint on a huge banner with, and a mud puddle to stomp in and make footprints. There were a couple of hesitant kiddos, but most of them were covered head to toe in MUD!!

Mud Day is always so much fun! It is so important to let kids get messy even if it is a challenge to clean up. Visit this website to learn more about the importance of sensory play and why we love to integrate it here at the Academy of Heritage Commons!
Huge thanks to Ms. Sarah Jones of Sarah Jones Portraits for taking these amazing photos of our kids! To see these and all the others from mud day at AoHC you can visit her blog or facebook page.
