We Love Culture!

It was such a fun day at AOHC. One of our infant teachers, Ms. Mania, shared her culture with us by performing a beautiful Bengali dance. She explained how these dances tell stories in her culture and how young children, like our friends, begin learning them at an early age. This particular dance told the story of a rainy day. Ms. Mania’s performance was truly beautiful and a joy to watch.

Ice Exploration and Volcano Eruptions

Classes were full of icy surprises when a special mission arrived called Operation Save the Animals. Some tiny animals had become trapped in ice and needed help getting free. With lots of scraping, poking, and teamwork, our friends jumped right into action and truly saved the day. The excitement was contagious and everyone had such a great time rescuing their chilly animal friends.

The fun did not stop there. During our Enrichment activity, Ms. Robbie taught the classes all about volcanoes and what happens before they erupt. And of course, no volcano lesson would be complete without a hands on experience. Our PreK classes were especially entertained and had an amazing time watching the volcano come to life. It was a day full of learning and laughter!
