Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones. November just came and went, and we're finally in the month of December! We are so excited for some Christmas cheer! Let's catch up on what's been going on! On Monday, infants read the story "Little Ms. Muffet" for their Frogstreet curriculum. It was so cute to see the teachers engage with the babies. On Tuesday, our Preschool and Pre-K classes discussed safety during the holidays. With all the pretty lights and candles, we must talk about what we are allowed or not allowed to touch. On Wednesday, classes made their own ornaments for our tree! Some classes made reindeer, and others made snow globes. It was great to see all the creativity. This week, we have made gingerbread houses using shapes; toddlers and preschoolers get to play a game called "What's in The Box?" for their Frogstreet activity. I do wonder what fun things the teachers will have in their boxes. On Wednesday, we will have special papers to have our friends draw what they want for Christmas to put in our magic mailbox. Santa cannot wait to see what our friends come up with. On Thursday, we will be counting gift bows, and on Friday, PreK 4 will have their Christmas Program! Our friends have been practicing and are excited to perform for their Mom and Dads! What an exciting couple of weeks!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Hi everyone! I hope your week is going well! Let's catch up with what's been going on! Last week our friends did the Turkey Dance to get excited for the holiday, PK3 and PK4 did their Frogstreet activity by creating a train using shapes, National Gingerbread Day was Thursday so our friends were able to take home their own little gingerbread friend, and on Friday we had our Thanksgiving feast, which was super delicious if you ask me.
Can you believe this week is Thanksgiving?! Time is flying by! So far, our classes have made their own turkey craft. It was great to see all the ideas each class had for this activity! Tuesday it was story time! We read, "There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Turkey". We do wonder why she swallowed that turkey. Lastly, our classrooms went on a scavenger hunt!
We are so grateful to all the families that have and continue to trust us with their most special little humans. We are also so grateful for the teachers that have made such a difference in the lives of the students that walk through our doors
. We really couldn't be the center we are without them. We hope that this Thanksgiving, whether you're traveling or staying home, that you find joy in the things that you have been blessed with throughout the year. Happy Thanksgiving from the AOHC family!

November Is Here!
Hi everyone! I hope you all are having an amazing week so far! Can you believe we're in the month of November already? It's so shocking how time flies the way it does. Let's catch up with what's been going on! Monday, classes did a corn craft. Some used beads, some used paint with Q-tips, and some used their handprints. It was great to see the ideas the teachers had for the activity. Tuesday, Toddler 1 to Preschool 1 read a classic story from their curriculum called "The Little Red Hen". It's a great lesson about working for what you get. Wednesday, classes all made a thankful tree. We always want to show the importance of being thankful for the things we have, and there's nothing like a child being a part of creating their class thankful tree. Thursday, we read, "Pete The Cat's First Thanksgiving" and lastly our classes had an apple letter match activity. This week so far we have made a turkey crown, we've had a caricature artist come in the afternoon to draw some families which was SO fun! It was HUGE hit with all the families, and today we had PS2-PK2 color sort crayons. What a fun week so far!
