T'was The Night Before Thanksgiving

 Hey everyone! I hope all of you are having a wonderful week! It's the day before Thanksgiving! Who's excited!?! I know we are! This week, we have been talking about what we all are thankful for. Through the hustle and bustle of life we hope this Thanksgiving, as you all look around your table seeing your family laugh and talk with one another, you  reflect on the wonderful things you all have been blessed with this year. We all have been through all kinds of things. Some more intense than others. But despite all the obstacles, you're here, and you are stronger than you were before. We are truly thankful for all of you and I hope you have a safe and joyous Thanksgiving.  

On The Third Week of November, The Turkey Gave To Me!

 Hey everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful week so far. Who's been loving the cold crisp mornings? Some days are easier than others for us lol. This week, we have been doing all things turkey. From painting with feathers, turkey dances,  to singing turkey songs. We also must not forget the Thanksgiving celebration on Friday.  The younger friends get to have a Thanksgiving themed lunch in their classroom while the WHOLE PreK pod gets to come out to the enrichment room and eat together. This is something that PreK hasn't done before and they are stoked about seeing their all of their friends. It's almost the countdown to Thanksgiving! Get your tummies ready!!

On The Second Week of November, The Turkey Gave to Me!

 Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a nice week! Can we talk about this time change?!? It is throwing me off big time! So far this week has been a fun one. We gave out scavenger hunt sheets for families to take home and do. It's a good time to have families explore outside and work as a team to find what was on the list. We also had stories by the campfire. Teachers were creative on how they could make a campfire for their class so they can read stories to them. The kids also had a nice time experiencing the ambiance. 

Turkeys are on the loose! All classes made turkeys with their hand. You will see turkeys of all shapes and sizes. Lastly, the kids will be leaf sorting by color at the end of the week. I don't know about you but I've been loving the leaves changing color. Hope everyone has a great rest of the week!

We're in November!

 Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a fun filled Halloween! We're now in the month of November. Can  you believe that?!? This year is flying I tell you! For this week, we're getting into the spirit of things. One of the things we did was go on a turkey hunt. We hid ten turkeys inside and outside the building and had the classes come out and see if they could find them all. I admit some were harder to find than others for a little bit of a challenge. All the classes that participated did well finding them! We also celebrated sandwich day so for lunch they got eat sandwiches. Who doesn't love a good sandwich am I right? At the end of the week we did a painting activity where the teachers made trees and the kids used their fingers to make leaves. What a fun week this has been!
