Butterfly Life Cycle, Recycled art, and Earth Day!

This week has been so much fun! The kids enjoyed some fun activities leading up to Earth Day! The teachers taught them all about the life cycle of the butterfly and taught them sweet butterfly songs. They also got to build cool projects with recycled materials. They were amazed at all of the things you can do with materials that has already been used!  We also learned about Earth Day and how to take care of the Earth. They also enjoyed going on an Earth Day scavenger hunt around the school.

NAEYC Week of the Young Child

This week we celebrated Week of the Young Child, which is an annual celebration sponsored by the NAEYC. The purpose is to focus on young children and their families, as well as recognize the importance of quality early childhood education. The Week of the Young Child allows us to show you and demonstrate the ways in which early childhood education is so important! NAEYC has put together a schedule so that every day during the Week of the Young Child will have a focus! This week included Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, Artsy Thursday and Family Friday. Check out how we celebrated below!

Picture Day With Little Angels Photography!

~ A memory is a photograph taken by the heart to make a special moment last forever.

Picture day is always a fun time! Some kids 😁 and some kids 😢but Mr. Steve and his Little Angels crew always does a great job capturing the best little smiles, which isn't hard to do with our adorable kids! We also got our cap and gown photos done for our soon to be PreK graduates. In June we will have our graduation ceremony. It's always super fun and filled with lots of happy, proud tears.
