This week at AoHC was all about family! We learned about who is in our immediate family (those that live with us) and who is part of our extended family (like grandparents and aunts/uncles). We talked about our pets and how they are considered family members. Who is part of your family? Do you have any animals?
This week has been filled with fun and smiles! Since our pre-K 4 kiddos have graduated and moved on to the next step in their journey, the rest of the school must follow suit. August is always an exciting month because we are finishing summer and gearing up for the new school year. Kiddos are reintroduced to our award winning frogsreet curriculum that works alongside Becky Bailey’s conscious discipline. Don’t forget to ask your kiddos teacher about Frogstreet. They will be happy to explain a little more about it. We have explored things related to ourselves, such as self portraits, the spelling of our names, and our families. We can’t wait to see what next week will bring at AoHC!
AoHC has been outta this world this week! Did you miss us? We've been learning about all kinds of things related to the planets and our solar system. On Monday, the classes explored their artistic talents by moon painting. We have some amazing artists! Tuesday we experimented with milk, food coloring, and soap to see the planets dancing! On Wednesday, we made telescopes with items around the classrooms and today the kiddos enjoyed a special marsh mellow constellation snack for afternoon snack. Be on the lookout for all the pictures coming through tadpoles.
