Fitness with Olaf!!

On Friday we had a blast keeping our minds and bodies in shape with Olaf! He was showing us some really fun moves that we can easily do at home. Make sure to ask your child to show you some awesome Olaf moves.

Snow Day!!!!

Who doesn't love a good snow day??? We have really enjoyed being able to play in the snow. Plus, it makes for a really fun sensory activity.

National Bubble Bath Day!

 Friday was National Bubble Bath Day! To celebrate, our friends took the time to wash their babies in class.  We learned how to wash and dry them! These skills will be super handy later on in life.

Next Week At AoHC

Next week at AoHC we will be continuing to talk about making healthy choices for our bodies and how those choices help us to stay fit. On Thursday, we will learn more about the Gold Sneaker Initiative. Gold Sneaker is a way for schools to make sure that students are provided with the necessary tools needed to ensure that they will be successful when making healthy choices. We will learn about fruits and veggies as well as different types of physical activity. This activity can be anything from running, jumping, dancing, or yoga. On Friday, we will have a special guest visit to help us workout. Olaf really wants to get our hearts pumping!

Happy New Year!! - Healthy Food Station


Happy New Years to our beautiful AOHC families! This month at AOHC we are focusing on fitness. The importance of making exercise a part of daily lives. Regular exercise and physical activities may help you control your weight, reduce your risk of heart diseases, improve your mental health and mood, strengthen your bones and muscles, improve your sleep, and can increase your chance of living longer.

Ways that we can make exercise a part of our daily routines are, make your everyday activities more active, make exercise more fun, or be more active with family and friends.

Today, we have a healthy snack station for our families to grab and enjoy! Yum Yum!! Let’s make this year a healthy one! Remember, the only bad workout was the one you didn't do. :)
