Reminders

Hey! Just a few reminders about what’s going on at AoHC for the remainder of September. 

• Tomorrow is dress up as your favorite comic book character day! We can’t wait to see who all of our visitors will be for class tomorrow. 
• Thursday is national pancake day, so of course we will having pancakes for morning snack :) 
• Friday is national Brave day! We want to show our courage and bravery by wearing red.

Fall STEAM Craft

This week at AoHC, our friends are bringing in the first day of Fall by going on a nature walk to collect items from outside that can be used for a fall wreath. Some friends found leaves, twigs, rocks, pine cones, mint, bark, and pine needles. The classes each made a classroom wreath to display in the classroom. 

Independence High School Parade

Earlier today we were able to watch the Independence High School Homecoming Parade.  The kiddos enjoyed seeing the cheerleaders, the marching band, Mario and Luigi, and the horses. The smiles say it all! 

Who doesn't love monster trucks?

Of course, the fire truck had to sound its siren to bring in the parade.

Some friends were even given a prize from the high schoolers. 

Fall Carnival!

Our Fall Carnival was a blast! We had face painting, a bounce house, apple toss, and a balloon artist. Families had fun watching their kiddos bond while getting to know their teachers better.
