Learning is a life long endeavor. As the world changes, so does education and the students needs change especially as the technological world advances. Teachers must grow with these changes. If not, our children aren't being taught in the best ways with the updated information.
Twice a year (Spring and Fall), NGU. Inc. hosts Teacher Inservice Training. This year our training took place at the Adventure Science Center. There's no better way to learn than through play.
We had a great guest speakers encourage and inspire us to learn through play. Bringing in wonderful new information such as incorporating Math and Science to our summer theme, Power of Play, and to make it fun!
As teachers, we worked together, picking at each others brain, allowing us to brainstorm wonderful lessons and help each other. This was an incredibly valuable time, makes our job easier and less stressful. And helps makes learning fun!
Not only does this benefit our teachers, it definitely benefits our students...
