Easter Fun!

We hope you’ve been soaking up the sunshine these past few days—it’s been gorgeous! Let’s catch up on all the fun we’ve been having lately.

Easter Week was packed with excitement!
We kicked things off on Monday with spring-themed sensory bins. The kiddos got creative, and it was such a fun way to welcome the season. On Tuesday, we turned into little scientists and made “rain in a jar.” Watching the food coloring drip through the shaving cream was like magic—just like how rain falls through clouds. The kids were mesmerized!

Wednesday was all about reptiles! Our Preschool 2 through PreK 2 friends learned about different reptiles and their habitats—so cool. Then came Thursday: our Egg Hunt Extravaganza! The excitement was through the roof as the kids discovered how many eggs the Easter Bunny had left behind. A huge shoutout to our amazing parents who came out to help—it wouldn’t have gone so smoothly without you. Thank you!

The following week didn’t slow down either!
We started with a water sensory bin full of rubber duckies. Some of our creative friends added in a few other animal friends too, and everyone had a blast splashing around. Then came Earth Day, and our teachers led some awesome conversations and activities about how we can take care of our planet.

On Wednesday, we had a sweet and silly story time with Spring Stinks—the kids loved it! Thursday was all about chalk art, and the playground was bursting with color by the end of the day. To wrap up the week, our PK3 and PK4 classes explored the life cycle of a frog. Ribbit, ribbit!

It’s been a whirlwind of fun and learning lately, and we’re loving every minute of it.
Wishing you all a fantastic rest of the week!

Springtime Fun!

Hey everyoneI hope you all had a wonderful couple of weeks. Let’s catch up on all the fun things that have been happening around here!

In our toddler and preschool rooms, the kids dove into their Frog Street activities and went on a classic bear hunt adventure. They had a blast talking about bears and learning all about their habitats. We also had a letter match activity that got everyone’s brains buzzing—it’s always great to see them practicing with fun visuals.

Next up? Hat Day! Everyone rocked their favorite hats to school. To wrap up the week, the classes read The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It’s a timeless favorite, and the kids loved every minute of it—even our littlest ones were captivated!

Now, this past week was a busy one! We had the book fair, our picture day, and celebrated NAEYC’s Week of the Young Child. The book fair was a huge hit—we loved seeing so many of our little friends exploring and getting excited about books. There’s truly nothing better than kids who are eager to read!

Here’s a quick look at our Week of the Young Child fun:

  • Music Monday: Classes made their own rain sticks to keep in their rooms. It was so much fun watching them get creative with decorating their handmade instruments.

  • Tasty Tuesday: Everyone went home with a little sweet treat—because who doesn’t love a surprise snack?

  • Work Together Wednesday: Kids chose different team projects to take on, and the top pick? Tower-building! The race to build the tallest structure had everyone cheering.

  • Artsy Thursday: Things got messy (in the best way)! We used paint and hammers to create some wild and wonderful art. Preschool is all about creativity and having fun, and this was a perfect example.

  • Family Friday: We sent home a nature scavenger hunt for families to do over the weekend. Fingers crossed the weather cooperates! It’s always nice to spend some quality time outside together.

Thanks for being part of all the excitement—we’ve had such a great time these past couple of weeks. Wishing you all a cozy, relaxing weekend!
