Hey everyone! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic couple of weeks! Let’s catch up on all the fun happenings around here.
First up, March kicked off with Dr. Seuss Week, and it was such a blast! We started the week with Crazy Hair Day, and let me tell you, we saw some super creative and interesting hairstyles—both from our friends and our teachers. One teacher really went all out with her style, and it was awesome! Then on Tuesday, we read the adorable story Put Me in the Zoo, which is all about embracing and celebrating our differences. On Wacky Wednesday, the theme was, well, wacky—everywhere you looked, from the outfits to the hair, things were wild! On Thursday, we had a special treat: green eggs and ham at our breakfast bar, paired with a reading of the classic Green Eggs and Ham. To wrap up the week, we read the beloved Horton Hears a Who, which is always a favorite!
Next up, we celebrated St. Patty's Week, and it was full of fun activities! We kicked things off with a Shamrock Craft, where each class got creative with their own version of a shamrock. You could spot lots of paint, veggies, and other materials being used in all kinds of ways! On Tuesday, our Toddler and Preschool pods were busy with their curriculum activity. With a nursery rhyme theme, the teachers hid little kittens’ mittens around the classroom, and the kiddos had to find them. It was adorable to watch! Wednesday was all about rainbows, with each class doing its own unique rainbow craft. It was so fun to see the different takes on the theme. On Thursday, we read How to Catch a Leprechaun—the perfect inspiration for our little ones to make their own leprechaun traps with their families over the weekend. And of course, we ended the week with a Leprechaun Hunt! Our mischievous little friend had lost his coins, so the classes went on a hunt around the classroom to help him find them.
What a fun couple of weeks it’s been! Hope they all enjoyed these activities as much as we did!
