February Fun!

February has started out with a Bang! Families have started voting for the amount of candy hearts they think are in the jar. 1 vote per person and the person with the closest vote will win a Valentine's basket. We also read books to celebrate Black History month! The families were encouraged to join us in helping the children learn at a young age that knowing and accepting everyone is important by reading and checking out audio visuals at home. We also made predictions if the groundhog will see his shadow and he did! Get ready for 6 more weeks of winter, hopefully we can get some more snow! We have so many more fun days of February left filled with many activities. Welcome February! 

Celebrating Winnie The Pooh!

    We had so much fun celebrating national Winnie the Pooh day! The children read Winnie the Pooh stories and danced to Winnie the Pooh songs. It was a great day playing with Pooh and his pals.

Snowman Craft

The children had so much fun making snowmen. We also had a surprise visit from a real snowman! In our older classes the teacher's talked with the children about the different shapes of snowmen and what a snowman is made of! 

Science fun with Mr. Coco!

We had lot's of science fun with our special guest, Mr. Coco the Science guy. He talked with the children about dry ice and showed them lots of cool experiments with it. He talked with the kids about winter, snow, and how ice is formed. He made dry ice bubbles that the kids were able to hold and dry ice smoke that he blew around and made cool designs with it. He was awesome and the children and teachers enjoyed him!

Happy 13th Birthday AOHC!!

Today we celebrate our 13th birthday, WooHoo!!! We are so happy to be able to serve our community with quality childcare for so many years! We are also fortunate to have so many long term employees who's been rocking with us since the beginning!! The kids and parents got to join in on the birthday bash with delicious chocolate cookies to take home. The kids also partied with Max the frog! Happy, Happy birthday AOHC!!
