Annual Christmas Program

Last night we had our Christmas program here at AoHC. The T.A.S.K. kids did a great job memorizing and delivering their lines for The Gingerbread Man play. We were so proud of our Preschool and PreK classes for singing so well and being so brave on stage. Instead of the fox eating the gingerbread man at the end of the play we had a surprise visit from Santa. He reminded the fox to behave himself so he could be on Santa's good list. Following the play all the families gathered back in our enrichment room for refreshments. What Fun!

It's Snowing at AoHC

On Friday the weather man was calling for some snow here in Middle Tennesse, but since we didn't get any, we made our own!

Mini Snowman in PreK Three!

Drew said it was cold like real snow!

If you want to try this at home its simple! Mix two small boxes of baking soda with a small amount of white hair conditioner. The more conditioner you add the better the "snow" sticks together. You will have your own snow in no time!

Food Drive Pizza Party!

We started off our November food drive with a little competition. During the first week of November we had the classes challenge each other to see which class could bring in the most canned goods. Preschool two came in first place bringing almost 100 canned goods by Friday!! On the following Monday they got their much deserved pizza party and loved it!

Our First Annual Grandparent Tea & Art Show

Our Grandparent's Tea and Art Show was WONDERFUL!  So many sweet families here! We had a tea hat contest, and there were many beautiful tea hats present!  Even a few of the Grandpas had some great hats.  We loved the grandpa who sported his bow tie as well!  The children felt so special and proud having their grandparents here for the special event, and the teachers had nice grandparent art work on display for the grandparents to pick up.  We are excited to make this an annual event, every Friday before Grandparent's Day at 3:00 in the afternoon.
