Our First Annual Grandparent Tea & Art Show

Our Grandparent's Tea and Art Show was WONDERFUL!  So many sweet families here! We had a tea hat contest, and there were many beautiful tea hats present!  Even a few of the Grandpas had some great hats.  We loved the grandpa who sported his bow tie as well!  The children felt so special and proud having their grandparents here for the special event, and the teachers had nice grandparent art work on display for the grandparents to pick up.  We are excited to make this an annual event, every Friday before Grandparent's Day at 3:00 in the afternoon.

Thank you for playing tea with us!

High Reach Learning Theme off to a Running Start!

Our First Week's theme was "Some things move"... so we DID MOVE!  With Classroom Races and Hallway Baby Races!  We use High Reach Learning Curriculum.  They state their goal to be "for children to become eager learners who are prepared not only for kindergarten, but for long-term school success."  The curriculum covers all learning components; language development, emerging literacy, math, science, creativity and the arts, social skills, physical development, reasoning, problem solving and more.  The children love the learning through play, what they were meant to do, to explore.  We purchase the curriculum monthly for each age group from Infant boxes up through Pre-K.  For more information, you may visit their website:  www.highreach.com
