Fall Fest Week Here We Come!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week. It has been so busy at the Academy. It was picture day week! From Infants to PreK, all were dressed to impress for their photos. It was so enjoyable to see their beaming smiles. We also had PJ and Movie Day! We watched Charlie Brown’s The Great Pumpkin. A good ol’ classic that everyone enjoyed. Of course Saturday was Fall Fest! It was great to see all families join us in the festivities. We even saw kids as well as grownups dress up. What a fun filled week!

Pumpkins And Being Community Helpers!

 Hey everyone! I hope your week had gone well! It has been pretty busy here at The Academy. Families have been turning in candy for next week's Fall Fest. We are so stoked about Saturday, it's going to be an absolute blast. We hope the weather is just as beautiful as last year. Classrooms sang, "Five Little Pumpkins". A children's classic of course. Classes also talked about how important community helpers are to all of us and what kind of people help our community. Thursday we had a fun snack where they made a tombstone snack in the afternoon. Pudding, cookie crumbs for the dirt, and cookies for the actual tombstones. Probably the most delicious snack ever! Last but not least, classes went over what goes to the trash and what can be recycled. If we can help the earth by keeping things cleaner around us, then why not learn a new habit! 

Falling in love with Friendship!

 Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week! This week, we talked about our friendships. Friends brought in photos of them and their friend to school to talk about them during circle time. We also made a class friendship tree. It was so nice to see how unique each class made their tree.  Of course fall is not fall without reading the story, "Pete The Cat: Five Little Pumpkins". Thursday was, National Farmers Day! At circle time, classes talked about; what is a farmers job, why are farmers important, what kinds of farmers are there and what things do farmers give us. If you know a farmer, be sure to thank them!
