Magicians, Animal Prints, and Applesauce Fixins'

Hey everyone! I hope your week has gone well! This week has been eventful for us. Since we got hit with snow last week, Mr. Dean Alan (the magician) came for a visit on Monday. Preschool to PreK had such a blast with him. He performed his winter show where Olaf made an appearance. We also did some writing activities that day.

Classes went on a hunt for some footprints throughout the building. It was fun to see them try to guess which animal made those prints. Not only that, but they had to find them too. So fun!

PreK classes actually got to make their own afternoon snack. Homemade applesauce! They sure felt so accomplished to be able to make their own snack. It was delicious! Then to finish the week off, we had Hat and Scarf day! Now I know it's not as cold as it was last week, but it was still fun to be able to wear a hat and scarf inside. What a Week!

Winter Fun!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week! Our friends at AOHC did some fun activities. During the day, classes learned some sign language. It actually was impressive to see how much some of our friends actually know. They learned; "all done", "more", "please", etc. Even some friends in the older classrooms even know how to ask to be excused from the table when they are done eating.

Classes then went on a hunt for Mr. Snowman's clothes. They some how went missing. It was so cute to see how excited they were when they did find them throughout the school. Preschool rooms made their own version of the big bad wolf as the FrogStreet activity. We all love the good classic story of, "The Three Little Pigs".

To finish things off, friends made their own snowflakes. This weekend for us is going to be a cold one. Stay warm!
