AoHC's Special Guest

A big thank you to Mr. Kendall for coming and being our special guest today!!  In the spirit of Green our Scene Mr. Kendall talked about how planting a seed can make a tree grow.  He also brought his special friend Peanut, the dog.

Recycled Flower Fairies

Our classrooms had a great time making our recycled flower fairies out of water bottles, clothes pins, newspapers, and feathers today.  What a great way to use all our recycled materials we are gathering for Green our Scene!!

Classroom Planting Projects

Today our classrooms are doing planting seed projects.  We are making to-go bags of seeds of wildflowers to take home and plant!

Bubble Art with Preschool 2

Preschool 2 painted their shirts with bubbles today.  The kids loved trying to catch the bubbles on their shirts.

Our Preschool 2 friends started to "Green our Scene" today by cleaning up trash while they went on a nature walk!

Green Our Scene

Green Our Scene kicks off April 2nd! Pledge with us to "go green"! We will focus on our environment and how we can care for our planet to live a "greener life. We will have our own recycling station at the school to collect recycled items. We will turn trash into art projects, plant seeds, clean up any trash we find around our school, and enjoy eating worms in dirt.
