From February to March!

Hi everyone! I hope you’ve been enjoying the beautiful weather this week. After a long stretch of cold and snow, it’s finally starting to warm up, and we’re soaking up the sunshine!

We kicked off the last week with a long Presidents Day weekend, followed by a visit from the Science Guys, who were a big hit with the students. Science is always such an exciting and fun way to learn!

Unfortunately, Wednesday’s snow kept us from school, but it was great to see families staying connected and sharing pictures of their snow day adventures.

On Thursday, we celebrated the amazing Jesse Owens and his impact on sports and history, and our infant classes wrapped up their week with a FrogStreet activity to the song “You Are My Sunshine.”

This week, we learned about Katherine Johnson and her incredible contribution to America’s space program. On Tuesday, we read Corgi Loves, and Wednesday was National Tell a Fairytale Day, so we had a fun dress-up day and read some great stories. Thursday, we counted love bugs, and Friday we wrapped things up with a cozy Pajama Day.

Can’t believe March is here! Now, we’re all wondering when the Leprechaun will pay us a visit. Who knows what kind of mischief he’ll bring?

The Month of Love

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. Can you believe it's already February? January seemed to fly by! Let's take a moment to catch up on all the fun we've been having.

Last week, we focused on movement and crafts. On Monday, the classes created their own obstacle courses. Despite the cold, and sometimes rainy weather keeping us indoors, the kids still had a blast. Tuesday was all about crafting personalized snowflakes, which was a perfect opportunity for our older friends to practice using scissors. Wednesday brought a fun melted snowman activity, where the children learned why snowmen melt. On Thursday, we celebrated with a Frozen-themed dress-up day, and on Friday, we wrapped up the week with a winter tree creation station.

This week, our theme for the preschool and toddler classes was shapes—specifically squares! To make learning fun, we played a game called "Square Search," which was a big hit with the kids. They love finding hidden objects, so it was the perfect way to help them learn. On Tuesday, we enjoyed the sweet story I Love You Little, I Love You Lots. Wednesday was all about the month of love, so we wore pink to celebrate. Thursday featured a heart stamping activity, where our little ones used recycled items—it's always great to teach them how many creative things can be made from recycled materials. Finally, on Friday, we showed off our favorite football team jerseys. Who do you think will win the Super Bowl? It’s anyone’s guess!

We hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
